Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the trade.singles mobile app or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

trade.singles helps trading-card-game players track their collections and discover potential trades with friends they have added. The Service is a discovery and matchmaking tool. We do not process payments, ship cards, or take custody of cards. Any physical exchange of cards is arranged and completed by the users themselves.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm your parent or guardian permits you to use the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. One person, one account. You must not impersonate anyone else.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harass, defraud, or harm other users.
• Submit content that infringes others' rights, is sexually explicit, hateful, or illegal.
• Scrape, mass-download, or use automated tools to access the Service.
• Interfere with the Service's operation, security, or other users' access.
• Attempt to circumvent privacy controls (for example, trying to view a non-friend's collection).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Card data, prices, and brand marks

Card data, images, and prices are provided by Scryfall (Magic: The Gathering) and pokemontcg.io (Pokémon TCG). Card images and trademarks (Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, etc.) are the property of their respective publishers. trade.singles is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, The Pokémon Company, Scryfall, or pokemontcg.io. Prices shown in the app are approximate market reference values, not offers, and may be inaccurate or out of date.

6. Trades between users

The Service helps users discuss, propose, and accept trades, but the actual exchange of cards happens between the users directly and is your responsibility. We are not a party to any trade. We do not guarantee fairness, condition, authenticity, delivery, or completion of any trade. Disputes between users are between those users.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (collection lists, ratings, messages). You grant trade.singles a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host and display that content to you and the friends you've authorized to see it, solely so that we can operate the Service. You can delete your content at any time from within the app.

8. Service availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue the Service. We will give reasonable notice for material changes when practicable.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, trade.singles is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, trade.singles will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost cards, lost profits, or trade outcomes. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed AUD 100.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for legal reasons.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable consumer rights you may have.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
